An education support organization in Bath is looking for an In-Class Support Assistant. This role involves working closely with children with special educational needs, such as Autism and ADHD, providing essential support in class and during breaks. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, patient, and willing to assist with personal care tasks. This position offers flexible hours, and while experience is not mandatory, a positive attitude and resilience are essential. Free specialized training and a DBS check reimbursement are included.
Five Education are looking to recruit an In-Class Support Assistant in Bath. As a Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with identified children and young people, encouraging them to learn and challenge themselves. The children have a diagnosis of Special Education Needs (SEN) such as Autism or ADHD and/ or mental health challenges. They will need extra help at school in the lessons and at break and lunchtimes. Experience is not necessary, but a can-do attitude, resilience and initiative are essential. You will need to be available 8am until 6pm. This work is term time only, the school prefers people who can offer 5 days a week but they will consider people who can work a minimum of two days a week. Please note that personal care is essential for this role.
If you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
