Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to use your nursing leadership skills to make a real difference every day. Join us as our new Nurse Manager at Havenmere care home in Immingham.

Role Description

As a Nurse Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for the people living in your home. This senior role reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager and manages a team of nursing and care colleagues on day shift, driving quality and maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the care and nursing team during shifts to ensure we meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of residents.
  • Provide strong leadership to maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, including observation, handovers, care planning and risk assessment policies.
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for oversight, review and update of their care profiles.
  • Supervise and manage the unit’s medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal.

Qualifications
  • First‑level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Post‑registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications.
  • Thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating people.
  • Ability to work confidently on your own initiative.
  • Good standard of digital skills.
