Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams in rehabilitation care. You will oversee patient programs, coordinate with administration, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care across shifts.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy implementation, and staff development within a supportive, patient-centered environment. A BSN and leadership experience are preferred, with ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification within a year of meeting eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, provide on-the-spot feedback, conduct annual evaluations, and administer discipline.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and promote positive outcomes.
