A healthcare institution in Derby is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to manage a caseload of patients in the Gynaecology team. The role involves delivering specialist nursing support, assessing care needs, and auditing performance against national guidelines. Ideal candidates will have NMC registration and current experience as a nurse specialist, along with enthusiasm for women's health and change management. The post-holder will be an advanced nurse practitioner and will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload of patients/service-users. They will provide highly specialist nursing support, advice, education and care to that specific group. They will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, including setting standards of care and supporting evidence‑based practice within Endometriosis.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the ongoing care needs of this cohort of women, manage expectations and support symptom control. They will also audit the overall performance of the service against national guidelines.
Band 7 – fixed‑term funded post within the Gynaecology team.
