Cornerstone Healthcare Group is seeking a registered nurse (RGN) for The Burren in Bristol to join a team delivering high-quality care for residents with complex neurological, mental health, and dementia needs. Role involves day and night shifts, with weekend work and an average of 40.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Registered Nurse in the UK with a valid NMC pin (RGN essential).
• Experience working in a hospital setting with adults with complex needs including mental health and brain injury (essential).
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Organise and delegate workload to ensure resident care is delivered by skilled staff.
• Assess, plan and evaluate care needs for residents.
• Oversee care provided by HCAs & Senior HCAs on shift.
• Participate in clinical meetings and report concerns to managers.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation.
• Respect confidentiality, dignity, and privacy of residents and staff.

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for experienced and passionate Nurse (RGN) to join our award-winning team at The Burren. The Burren is a brand-new purpose-built service location South Bristol, providing high quality care &supporting residents with varying complex neurological, mental health & dementia care needs provided in a comfortable and safe living environment. What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse within the UK with a valid NMC pin (RGN essential)
• Experience working in a hospital setting with adults that present with complex needs including challenging behaviours and mental health needs and brain injury (essential)
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
• A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

Your Working Pattern

• Day shifts 7.45am - 20.15pm
• Night Shifts 19.45pm - 8.15am
• Average of 40.25 hours per week.
• Whilst we accept preference you will be required to work a mixture of days and nights. Weekend work involved.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of resident’s care is carried out by appropriate skilled members of staff
• Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
• Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants & Senior Health Care Assistants on shift
• Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
• Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner
• Respect the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of residents and staff at all times
