Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for flexible sessional work across primary care clinic settings in Reigate. You will support local primary care teams by managing acute presentations, carrying out routine assessments and contributing to day-to-day clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with current registration and post‑registration experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable.
• Strong skills in minor illness assessment and autonomous practice.
• Experience with EMIS Web or SystmOne.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous NP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage minor illness and undifferentiated presentations.
• Perform triage both face-to-face and by phone.
• Prescribe safely within scope (if qualified).
• Complete follow-up actions and document results.

Key Responsibilities

• Running autonomous NP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing minor illness and undifferentiated presentations
• Conducting face-to-face and telephone triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of practice (if qualified)
• Completing clinical follow-up actions including results and medication queries
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical documentation

Requirements

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable
• Strong minor illness and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different practice environments
• Familiarity with EMIS Web or SystmOne
• Enhanced DBS clearance

Working Pattern

• Suitable for ad-hoc or ongoing bookings
