We have an opportunity for a band 6 equivalent nurse to join our Public Health & Diagnostics Teamto workclosely with the NHS Health Checks Operations Manager to ensure the service is delivered safely and meets quality requirements.

Main duties of the job

Delivery of training for staff undertaking a health check Fed internal team, Community Pharmacies & GP Practices as necessary

Keeping Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) up to date / relevant

Quality oversight and supervision of HCAs undertaking checks

Quality oversight of Pharmacies undertaking checks through quality measures in subcontract which includes POCT (Point of Care Testing) devices and IQA/EQA arrangements

Quality oversight of Practices undertaking checks through quality measures in subcontract which includes POCT (Point of Care Testing) devices and IQA/EQA arrangements
