Job summary

Optical Express Group in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Nurse Injector to join our Cardiff Clinic on a part-time basis (1-2 days per week). You will provide expert Botox and dermal filler treatments, operate with V300 independent prescribing and ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be a qualified Nurse and hold a valid NMC pin number.
• Aesthetic training in Botox and Dermal Fillers from Cosmetic Courses, Harley Academy or Level 7 Aesthetic Medicine; registered on JCCP or Save Face.
• Experience of working in a demanding, time-governed environment and treating ~20 patients per week for Botox and Filler.
• Passionate about helping people achieve greater confidence through better skin.
• Flexible approach with a 'can do attitude'.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and life-changing treatments to clients.
• Work independently offering treatments and life-changing advice.
• Deal with IV Wellness Drips as part of the service offering.
• Support continuous development with internal training to enhance skills.
• Maintain governance with strict protocols and regular audits, ensuring high clinical standards.
• Comply with Care Quality Commission standards for all treatments.

Job description

Job Title – Nurse Injector

Location – Cardiff

Hours of Work – Part Time, 1-2 days per week.

Candidates should hold the V300 independent prescribing qualification.

The Harley Medical Group and sk:n clinics are now part of the same Group that owns Optical Express and ACES, two of the leading ophthalmology providers, dedicated to giving both private and NHS patients world class levels of service and clinical care.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Aesthetic Nurse Injector to join the team within our Cardiff Clinic.

As an integral part of the sk:n team, you will be required to work independently offering expert advice and life changing treatments to your clients. Due to the nature of the work, direct experience in this area is required, Candidates should hold the V300 independent prescribing qualification. You will also be dealing with IV Wellness Drips.

As part of joining, we will also support with your continuous development offering internal training to enhance your skills and services offered.

Our clinics benefit from a robust system of governance with strict protocols for all our treatments and regular audits; our Nurse injectors play a key part in maintaining and improving these standards.

All sk:n clinics are registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, ensuring exacting clinical standards and peace of mind for our clients.

Experience, Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• All applicants must be a qualified Nurse and hold a valid NMC pin number
• Aesthetic Trained in Botox and Dermal Fillers ideally from Cosmetic Courses, Harley Academy or Level 7 Aesthetic Medicine or registered on JCCP or the Save Face register.
• Experience of working in a demanding, time governed environment and confidently seeing x20 patients per week for both Botox and Filler.
• Passionate about helping people to achieve greater confidence through better skin
• Flexible approach with a “can do attitude”
• Our peak business hours are evenings and weekends and therefore you should be flexible and willing to be able to work during these hours on a 1-2 week rota.
