Overview

An exciting new job opportunity is now available for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new nursing home opened in the summer of 2024 in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers. This flagship nursing home in Olney combines elegant facilities designed with resident wellbeing in mind, with a convenient location on the edge of town.

To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with an active NMC Pin

Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
  • Alongside the Home Manager, manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
  • Ensure the service users receive the highest standards of professional support, experiencing life opportunities and helping to promote growth and independence
  • Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses
Skills and experience
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
  • Ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent care services
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staff
  • Good clinical skills
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
Salary and Benefits

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £50,000 per annum DOE. This is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week on day shifts. Benefits include:
