Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nursing Associate to join the Early Intervention team, with one day a week in the Treatment team. The role focuses on physical health checks for patients on the early intervention caseload, depot injections, and clozapine clinic duties, primarily in community clinics with some home visits.

Qualifications

• Foundation degree completed.
• GCSE Maths and English (grade C or 4-9).
• NMC registration as Nurse Associate.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience of undertaking physical health checks and recording results.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical health checks for Early Intervention clients.
• Take blood pressure, pulse, venous samples and ECGs.
• Administer depot medications and depot injections.
• Attend clozapine clinics one day per week with Treatment team.
• Monitor physical health related to psychotropic medications.
• Record health check results accurately.
• Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrist, Team Manager and care coordinators.
• Deliver care in community clinics and patients' homes.
