A leading healthcare provider in Wakefield seeks an experienced Practice Nurse for 22.5 hours per week. The role involves providing quality patient care across two surgery sites, performing immunisations, wound care, and various clinical tasks. Ideal candidates will possess a Registered NMC Nursing Degree, experience in primary care, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly, well‑organised, forward thinking practice. We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our Nursing team working across two sites to provide a high quality service to the practice patients as well as working effectively with other agencies.
This post is for 22.5 hours a week working on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, as per the service need of the practice. The successful applicant must have the ability to travel between both sites: Lofthouse Surgery and The Manse Surgery.
We are looking for a Practice Nurse with experience in Primary Care Nursing or currently working towards.
Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, it is essential that the successful candidate is able to carry out cervical cytology, baby immunisations, and wound care including dopplers and compression bandaging.
Our surgery provides care to over 11,000 patients across 2 sites: Lofthouse Surgery and The Manse Surgery. We have 8 Doctors, 3 qualified Nurses and 3 Health Care Assistants who work at the practice, and we are looking to employ a Nurse to complete our team.
We are a member of the NHS Leeds Integrated Care Board and we are also a member of the Leeds 25/26 Primary Care Network.
