Job description

What youll do

As a Registered Nurse working within our packages of care you will provide a high standard of nursing care to our clients with complex needs. You will be expected to work closely with the family and MDT with oversight from the companys complex community nurse. There will be an up-to-date care plan for you to follow to ensure that you are aware of the clients needs and wishes. You will be expected to provide holistic person-centred care helping the client to meet their full potential. The role of the package nurse can be extremely rewarding it also offers flexible working if required.

You will deliver care in line with the care plan which includes percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy the usage of a NIPPY machine for ventilation suctioning and intermittent catheter care.

Qualifications : What youll need

• Registered Nurse Diploma / Degree with an active NMC Pin with at least 3 years of experience.
• To be self‑motivated enthusiastic caring and compassionate.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in PEJ.
• Experience with NIPPY machines.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience in intermittent catheter care.
• Experience of administering anti‑seizure medication.
