Responsibilities
  • Develop your skills across a wide range of exciting projects.
  • Learn and use relevant design software and technology.
  • Attend client meetings and assist in building key client relationships.
  • Understand and learn digital skills to help us harness technology in new ways.
  • Work competently in a technical nuclear environment, promoting Health, Safety, Radiation Protection, Environmental Protection, Quality, Security, Safeguards and Risk Management principles.
  • Apply science or engineering discipline knowledge to the development, operation, maintenance and progression of technologies used for decommissioning (e.g. remote handling and robotics), waste management, reprocessing and nuclear power generation.
  • Accurately observe, record and draw conclusions from data and experimental evidence, recognising inherent uncertainties and limitations.
  • Apply design processes, including material selection, that meet nuclear industry standards.
  • Work towards industry standards for nuclear professional practice and, upon completion, earn a Bachelor’s (Honours) degree accredited by the Engineering or Science Council.
