The Role

Ebeni is recruiting several bright, dynamic, and energetic Nuclear Safety Engineers to provide safety, risk, and licensing support across naval and civil nuclear programmes. Responsibilities include:

• Lead tasks and manage smaller projects while undertaking safety engineering activities defined by Project Safety Plans and Safety Management Systems.
• Perform hazard analysis to define safety requirements and detailed systems reviews.
• Develop safety arguments and draft safety cases to support assurance and certification activities.
• Conduct Independent Peer and Periodic Safety Reviews for Nuclear Site Licensees and Design Authorities.
• Provide licensing support in relation to civil and defence nuclear regulations.
• Undertake safety assessment via application of appropriate regulatory requirements, legislation, tools and techniques.
• Liaise with system developers, certification bodies, operators, and facilities management as necessary regarding safety.
