Qualifications

• Experience as a Safety Case Manager in complex or nuclear projects is required.
• SC clearance held or attainable is mandatory.
• Sole British nationality is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety case process for the Shoreside Support Infrastructure.
• Represent DIO at design reviews and project meetings.
• Review safety case documentation for compliance with HMNB Clyde requirements.
• Lead a small team and produce safety management documentation.

Skills

Developing safety assurance strategies for complex or nuclear projects

Safety case delivery or assessment in a nuclear environment

Knowledge of HMNB Clyde or similar defence nuclear environments

Experience with claims/arguments/evidence-based approaches

Experience in Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programme safety cases

Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Education

STEM degree or equivalent experience

Chartered Engineer status
