A leading nuclear technology provider seeks a Pools Tanls Liners and Sumps (PTLS) engineer for the Hinkley Point C Project in Bridgwater, UK. The role encompasses supporting design activities, managing modifications during construction, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree and experience in the nuclear industry, particularly in design and construction interfaces. Qualifications

• PTLS engineer with experience in design of structures in the nuclear industry.
• Experience in calculation notes preparation and mechanical behaviour.
• Knowledge of Eurocode 2 and understanding of safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the production of the impacted deliverables.
• Interact with back-office regarding design interfaces.
• Support JDO Steelwork team lead regarding team needs.

Skills

Design of structures in the nuclear industry

Preparation of calculation notes

Knowledge of Eurocode 2

Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software
