Job summary

Matchtech Group seeks a Project / Framework Director to provide strategic leadership across complex nuclear programmes. You will oversee multidisciplinary delivery teams, strengthen client relationships and drive business growth in a highly regulated engineering environment.

This role requires a strong nuclear background, client development experience, and robust governance with NEC4 and change control. You will mentor managers and promote continuous improvement across delivery functions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project, programme or framework management within the nuclear sector.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and win new work.
• Strong commercial acumen, including NEC4 contracts and change/risk management.
• Experience developing cost estimates, pricing strategies and commercial proposals for large, multidisciplinary projects.
• Leadership across governance, assurance and risk management.
• Knowledge of BIM and CDE requirements.
• Engineering/construction/project management degree; chartered status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of complex nuclear projects and programmes.
• Lead relationships with clients, delivery partners and stakeholders as a trusted adviser.
• Identify and secure opportunities within existing frameworks and client organisations.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pricing submissions and cost estimates in line with requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, project management, design and delivery functions.
• Champion BIM and CDE requirements and mentor project managers and technical teams.
