Job summary

Babcock International in Plymouth invites you to join its five-year Process and Plant Engineer Degree Apprenticeship. You will study for a BEng in Professional Engineering at Aston University while contributing to projects that support national security and naval infrastructure.

Throughout placements, you’ll work with experienced engineers on design delivery, safety engineering and operations, developing CAD, thermo-fluid analysis and project management skills, while meeting BPSS/SC clearance

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
• Three A levels at CCC or above, including maths-based and STEM subjects, or STEM-related BTEC at DMM or above.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and technical assurance activities within a nuclear-regulated environment.
• Provide practical engineering experience across teams including Design Delivery, Technical & Operational Support, Safety Engineering, and Operations.
