Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiographer to work across Charing Cross and Hammersmith on a rotational basis. The role supports PET/CT and SPECT/CT services in a dynamic NHS environment. It offers a Band 6 salary and 37.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will hold a BSc in Science or Radiography, be HPC registered, and have a postgraduate diploma in Nuclear Medicine with CPD evidence. NHS experience and I.V.

Qualifications

• BSc in a Science subject or BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
• Radiographer – State registration with HPC.
• Post graduate diploma in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD.
• For the MTO, Membership of the Register of Clinical Technologists.
• Further professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• To provide an efficient and professional nuclear medicine service, maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients.
• Assist Deputy Modality Lead Technologist/Radiographer.
• To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development (CPD).
• To provide staff training and supervision of junior staff and students.
