The Nuclear Medicine department, part of Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, is recruiting a radiographer or technologist. The work centres on preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, imaging patients and processing their data, plus assisting with and administering the tracers. The department runs around 3,000 examinations a year, about three-quarters for oncology patients, on two gamma cameras including a SPECT-CT, with an in-house radiopharmacy. Full training is given, so prior nuclear medicine experience is an advantage rather than a requirement.
