Job summary

A leading UK academic healthcare institution is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 nuclear medicine radiographer/technologist to provide patient-focused imaging services and support clinical and research activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in SPECT/CT and PET imaging techniques. This role includes responsibilities such as administering radiopharmaceuticals and supervising trainees. Qualifications

  • Must be highly organised and enthusiastic.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine imaging techniques.
  • Ability to teach and supervise students and new trainees.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, patient focussed imaging service across SPECT/CT, PET/CT, PET/MRI and Bone Density.
  • Perform QC testing on imaging cameras.
  • Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals through IV cannula.
