Job description

This is a full-time, permanent Band 5 position within the Nuclear Medicine Department, primarily based at Singleton Hospital. The post-holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality DXA and imaging services, providing essential technical and clinical support to maintain safe and efficient operation of the service. Following an appropriate period of training, the successful candidate will participate in DXA scanning sessions during weekdays and evenings, and may also be required to support occasional weekend sessions to meet service demand. In addition, there may be a requirement to support DXA imaging on the mobile unit when needed to ensure continuity of service across sites. We are seeking an exceptionally motivated Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Clinical Technologist to join our friendly and dynamic team. The post-holder will provide technical and professional input to the DXA service, with opportunities to gain experience across the full range of Nuclear Medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast‑developing and innovative service. Nuclear Medicine at Singleton Hospital is a supportive and progressive department where continuing professional development is actively encouraged and supported.
