Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Quality Management Lead – Logistics to coordinate equipment, materials and documentation across the UK supply chain for a major infrastructure project. You will interface with project teams, suppliers and construction teams to ensure delivery readiness, material traceability, inspection and release, and on-site delivery with a focus on Right First Time.

The role requires oversight of CQAPs, LTQRs, PQCPs, and ITPs, delivering proactive quality assurance across the supply

Qualifications

• Experience in project logistics, supply chain or delivery within safety-critical sectors.
• Strong understanding of logistics across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transport and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating equipment delivery, shipment readiness and material traceability within complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor Contractors Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP).
• Develop PQCPs for the supply chain and ensure deployment of quality contractual arrangements.
• Coordinate logistics interfaces between suppliers and project functions and track equipment status from manufacture to site delivery.
• Provide guidance on CQAPs, LTQR strategies and quality-related activities.
• Lead LTQR reviews and support progressive LTQR provision by contractors.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including inspection entities.
