Qualifications

• Independent worker capable of planning under broad supervision.
• Engineering background in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
• Experience in design, drafting or construction.
• Ability to manage complex technical issues and collaborate across teams.
• Solid understanding of NEC contract management and CDM regulations.
• Confident with systems for maintaining accurate project records.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Structured, pragmatic approach to risk management and delivering results.
• UK residency for at least 3 of the last 5 years to meet SV criteria.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers across multiple disciplines to ensure timely design package delivery.
• Monitor performance against key metrics and maintain high technical standards.
• Manage design changes and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure alignment between design and construction teams.
• Support readiness reviews and address multi-disciplinary challenges.
• Identify risks, facilitate communication, and balance workloads.
• Report to the JDO Area Lead and Nuclear Island Engineering Manager.
