EDF Energy’s Nuclear Control Room Operator role at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset, offers a structured 18 to 24‑month training programme to develop the technical knowledge and operating confidence needed to become a plant-facing Reactor Operator.

No prior nuclear experience is required; candidates with an HNC in a STEM discipline will be supported by expert instructors and a diverse team throughout the learning journey.

Competenze

• HNC qualification or an equivalent STEM qualification is required.
• Strong commitment to safety and precise attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to learn and apply procedures, assess risk and make informed decisions.
