Integrated Nuclear Group is seeking Quality Control Inspectors for a Nuclear Defence project in Plymouth to oversee quality activities across the project lifecycle. Night shifts (7pm-5:30am) with 4 days on/4 days off, with travel expenses paid when applicable, and potential UK-wide travel.

The role requires SC clearance or the ability to obtain it, familiarity with civil standards and drawings, and experience in nuclear or MOD environments.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in quality and/or inspections in construction projects.
• Previous experience in Civil construction.
• Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
• Ability to understand Civil Standards, specifications and drawings.
• Nuclear or MOD Experience.
• Microsoft Office capable/literate.
• Previous experience in quality and inspections in construction projects of a similar size and complexity

Responsabilidades

• Provide QC inspection in accordance with relevant specifications and ITP requirements.
• Attend Kick-Off meetings and where applicable Pre-Inspection Production Meetings (PIPM).
• Participate in Supply Chain Pre-Assessments and Capability Reviews where requested.
• Ensure Dimensional Reports are produced and verify critical parameters identified in Drawings, Quality Plan and ITP.
• Monitor adherence to approved Procedures, Technique Sheets, Quality Plans and ITPs.
• Ensure only SQEP personnel undertake work tasks, inspection and testing activities.
• Witness execution of work tasks, inspection and testing activities, Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Verify Contractor's inspection and test equipment is calibrated to contractual requirements.
• Ensure inspection findings are reported, corrected, and verified.
• Ensure production/construction environment and equipment are suitable for manufacture, installation, inspection or test.
• Produce and circulate Inspection Reports (Daily/Weekly) as per reporting requirements.
• Report progress to the Quality Engineer / Quality Manager.
• Ensure LTQRs are generated concurrent with manufacturing and site activities, report deviations.
• Carry out Final Inspection and Issue of Certificate of Release or other contract release certificate.
• Complete a Contract Close Out Report when applicable.
