Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Project Manager to lead a Sizewell C civil works programme in Leiston, UK. You will coordinate engineering, design and procurement activities across multiple stakeholders in a highly technical, safety-critical environment.

The role offers a starting salary up to £75,000 per annum, 24 days of annual leave (plus optional extra days), a pension scheme, life assurance and private medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong project management knowledge in a highly technical, safety-critical environment.
• Experience leading major projects from concept to handover.
• Experience in procurement and management of complex contracts.
• Proficient in cost, risk, schedule and change control.

Responsibilities

• Taking a holistic view of Systems, Structures and Components within your programme area.
• Ensuring timely delivery of engineering studies by internal teams and contractors.
• Preparing post FID contract documentation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Driving implementation of site-specific design changes into programme deliverables.
• Managing internal and external technical interfaces to support coordinated design and delivery.
• Engaging early with stakeholders and suppliers to identify risks such as obsolescence.
• Overseeing the technical elements of procurement processes for allocated contracts.
• Embedding lessons learnt and knowledge capture practices across project teams.
