A leading law firm in Bristol is seeking an NQ – 3 PQE Contentious Probate Solicitor to manage a varied caseload involving contentious probate matters. Job Title: NQ – 3 PQE Contentious Probate Solicitor
Salary: £40K – £50K
Hours: Full time
Location: Bristol, hybrid.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a varied caseload involving contentious probate matters.
* Advise clients on disputes related to wills, estates, and trusts.
* Prepare and draft legal documents, including statements of case and correspondence.
* Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
* Represent clients in court
* Collaborate with senior colleagues on complex cases.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
* Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
* Participate in business development and client relationship activities
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Qualified Solicitor registered in England and Wales NQ +
* Solid background within disputes resolution ideally dealing with contentious probate matters.
* Experience contributing to business development initiatives and fostering strong client relationships and a willingness to attend networking events.
* Ideally you will be a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists but this is not essential.
* A confident and approachable communicator, able to provide clear and empathetic advice to clients on complex issues relating to wills, estates, and trusts.
* Excellent drafting and writing skills.
* Proactive and analytical when conducting legal research to support case strategies, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Comfortable representing clients in hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings, with the confidence to advocate effectively in court.
* A collaborative team player, working well with senior colleagues on complex cases, and open to feedback and further development.
* Highly organised and diligent, with a proven ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records while meeting legal deadlines.
* Results-driven and client-focused, able to balance legal expertise with a practical understanding of clients’ needs and expectations.
