Job summary

Haven is seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to safeguard swimmers and ensure a safe, enjoyable water experience at our Haven site in the United Kingdom. You will monitor swimming areas, respond to emergencies with first aid as needed, and enforce pool rules while maintaining a clean pool environment.

Candidates must hold a current NPLQ certification, be proficient swimmers, and possess strong observation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NPLQ certification (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification).
• Proficient swimming ability with strong water safety awareness.
• Excellent observation and quick decision-making in emergencies.
• Clear and friendly communication with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
• Respond promptly to emergencies; provide first aid and rescue as needed.
• Enforce facility rules to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment and facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of pool area.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries.
