Job summary

Safran is seeking an NPI Buyer to manage the purchasing function for new programmes, coordinating approximately 20 suppliers per typical project and handling 2-4 projects concurrently. Budgets are £1 Million+ per programme, with emphasis on supplier engagement and design for manufacture.

You will lead RFQ/RFP exercises, manage risk, and ensure delivery against Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets while liaising with engineering and production teams across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven negotiation experience with customers or suppliers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously across programs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and report to internal stakeholders at all levels.
