Job summary

The company, b3 jobs ltd, is seeking a Product Development Chef (Cakes & Patisserie) to create and refine products that support business growth. You will work closely with the NPD team to develop high‑quality baked goods from concept through to launch.

Based in Berkshire with 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm shifts, the role requires patisserie expertise and a formal baking qualification, collaboration across functions, and delivering results on time.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a professional kitchen, restaurant, or development environment, preferably in patisserie.
• Innovation and creativity with a passion for food, generating new ideas and improving products/processes.
• Results focused with ownership of projects and timely delivery.
• Collaboration across functions to build strong cross-team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop recipes for new and existing products, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow NPD processes and stage-gate requirements.
• Monitor initial production runs and support successful product launches.
• Participate in NPD meetings, project reviews, and cross-functional discussions.
• Keep informed of market trends, consumer insights, and industry innovations.
