Job summary

BBF Limited in Blackburn is seeking an experienced NPD Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead end-to-end NPD projects, craft technical and commercial directions for materials and recipes, and drive product development to meet retailer standards. Travel to BBF sites and customer head offices is required.

The role requires a minimum five years in FMCG with NPD leadership, a degree or equivalent, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in FMCG with NPD project leadership.
• Degree level or equivalent professional experience.
• Food industry experience desirable.
• Experience taking product development from brief to launch.
• Willingness to travel as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NPD projects from concept to launch.
• Provide technical and commercial direction on materials and recipes.
• Drive development to meet retailer standards and site capability.
• Own project timelines, manage risks and stakeholders.
• Ensure governance and launch readiness through PLM processes.
• Line manage at least one direct report and coach peers.
• Engage with key strategic customers and travel to BBF sites.
