Bare Biology Ltd is seeking an NPD Manager to drive new product development from concept to launch. You will own the pipeline, develop formulations, oversee stability testing and work with production, marketing and external experts to bring ideas to market.
In this hands-on role, you’ll refine existing products, seek cost efficiencies, and ensure all claims meet UK/EU regs. Reporting to Head of Operations, you’ll shape strategy and partner across teams to scale growth.
King's Cross or Brighton - 3 days/week in office, 2 WFH
Bare Biology started because our founder couldn't find a fish oil she trusted and needed one to help her OCD and post-natal depression. So, she built the brand she wished existed: women's health backed by real transparency, independent testing and effective doses.
We've been making luxury, high-quality health supplements since 2013, long before this market exploded, and have grown into one of the fastest-growing, most respected independent brands in UK wellness. Over a decade on, we're still independent, still family-owned, and still answering to nobody but ourselves and our customers.
Our products are revered by Nutritional therapists as the best in the industry because of the transparency we bring alongside proven efficacy; our Omega 3 fish oil has not only the highest levels of EPA & DHA but is also made exclusively from small, wild fish, is in its purest triglyceride form, and every single batch is third party tested for contaminants before it hits the shelves.
We're a lean team of 18 across Brighton and King's Cross. We hire individual contributors, not layers of management: no bureaucracy, no politics, just real ownership and recognition when it moves the needle. Every product goes through genuine clinical scrutiny, and we're trusted by doctors, nutritionists and health practitioners. You'll find us direct-to-consumer, on Amazon, and in Selfridges, Whole Foods, Planet Organic and John Bell & Croyden, and as a founding brand at Healf.
We're growing fast, with the fundamentals of a successful business already in place. We're looking for people who want to be properly part of the next leg of this journey, not just along for the ride.
As NPD Manager, you'll be the key driver of our new product development engine - spanning research, formulation, packaging innovation and launch planning. This isn't a role where you brief big ideas to manufacturers or agencies and wait for feedback: you'll be the one developing the formulas, defending the science, and running the trials with support from our external experts, of course.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. You'll take new product ideas from early concept through to a launch-ready proposal, working closely with the production & marketing teams along the way. In addition to launches, you'll keep a close eye on our existing range - spotting product and packaging improvements and cost efficiencies that keep the business on track as we scale.
You'll own and help shape the pipeline for new products across our range. You will:
