Job summary

Office Angels are recruiting an experienced NPD Chef to join a food manufacturing client on a temporary basis in Faversham. You will develop and refine long-life products, document recipes and test formulations to ensure quality and accuracy, using fresh ingredients and preserving shelf life where appropriate.

We seek hands-on innovators with strong recipe formulation skills, a track record in pH testing and preservatives, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as an NPD Chef in a food manufacturing or product development setting.
• Strong recipe formulation skills and experience testing formulations.
• Good understanding of pH testing and preservation methods.
• Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine products using varying ingredient ratios and formulations.
• Monitor and test pH levels, adjusting recipes as required.
• Utilise preservatives to maximise shelf life while maintaining quality.
• Accurately document recipes, methods, ingredient percentages, and test results.
• Maintain detailed records to ensure consistency and compliance.
