Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking an NPD Administrator to support the New Product Development team by keeping projects, data and documents organised. You will be central to enabling communication between chefs, technologists, commercial teams and suppliers as ideas move from concept to launch.

You will manage trackers, prepare gate presentations, arrange samples and ensure data are stored correctly, enabling smooth project flows. Strong organisation and collaboration are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Keep NPD project information, documents and trackers up to date across the full development process.
  • Support with preparing Gate presentations, briefs and paperwork for key NPD meetings.
  • Arrange samples, book ingredients and coordinate logistics for kitchen sessions and tastings.
  • Ensure data and documents are stored correctly and shared with the right teams.
  • Help monitor timelines and critical paths to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Communicate with Development Chefs, Technologists, Commercial, Technical and Planning teams.
  • Support supplier information, forms and paperwork linked to feasibility assessments and approvals.
  • Provide general admin support, including meeting notes and scheduling.

Job description

As an NPD Administrator you will support the New Product Development team by keeping projects, data and documents organised. You will help to ensure all key information, samples, timelines and approvals are managed in a smooth and accurate way. Do you enjoy being the person that connects others? If so this role gives you that opportunity as you would be central to enabling good communication between chefs, technologists, commercial teams and suppliers. As the NPD Administrator you will help the wider team move ideas from concept to launch by making sure everything is recorded, prepared and shared at the right time.,

  • Keep NPD project information, documents and trackers up to date across the full development process.
  • Support with preparing Gate presentations, briefs and paperwork needed for key NPD meetings and reviews.
  • Arrange samples, book in ingredients and coordinate logistics for kitchen sessions, tastings and customer meetings.
  • Ensure all data and documents are stored correctly and shared with the right teams, following agreed processes
  • Help monitor timelines and critical paths so tasks are completed on time.
  • Communicate with internal teams such as Development Chefs, Technologists, Commercial, Technical and Planning to keep projects moving.
  • Support with supplier information, forms and paperwork linked to feasibility assessments and approvals.
  • Provide general admin support to the NPD team, including meeting notes, scheduling and managing shared inboxes or project boards.
