Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a practicing NMP with a valid V300 certificate to work in substance misuse settings around Southport and surrounding areas. You will deliver client-centered interventions and take the lead on alcohol strategies, ambulatory detox, and substitute prescribing under supervision of pharmacy schemes.

DBS on update service is required; roles offer flexible hours—3 days a week for part-time or 5 days for full-time—with a dedicated consultant and 24h support from Belmont

Qualifications

• Practising NMP with valid V300 certificate.
• DBS check up-to-date (update service).
• Experience in substance misuse settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-centered interventions for individuals facing substance misuse.
• Take lead on alcohol interventions and ambulatory detox programmes.
• Provide substitute prescribing regimes with support from the pharmacy consumption scheme.
• Engage families and advocates when appropriate.
