Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Leatherhead is seeking a non-medical prescriber RMN to support the CYPS Crisis Intervention Service within the Children and Young People’s Service (ages 6-18). The role sits at Band 7 with a clear pathway to Band 8a upon successful completion of required training and competencies.
The post holder will work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Service Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a non medical prescriber (RMN) who is keen to support to the CYPS Crisis Intervention Service within the children and young person's service (ages 6-18years).
This role will be at Band 7 with the opportunity to develop to a Band 8a following successful completion of the required training and competencies.
The post holder will work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Service Manager.
We welcome applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses with experience working with Children and Young People.
The successful applicant must have experience in the assessment and treatment of children & young people (CYP), providing high quality, evidence-based Crisis Intervention care and treatment to young people with moderate to severe emotional and mental health problems and undertake the V300 Independent and Supplementary Nurse Prescribing modules.
To provide timely assessment of CYP who are referred to the Crisis Intervention Service and provide care planning and support for their pharmacological and treatment plans. To provide support, advice and education to Mindworks Hubs and other Services.
