Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a strategically minded Non-Executive Director with a strong digital and technology background to join its Board. You will work alongside the Chair and fellow Directors, sharing responsibility for the strategic direction and performance of the organisation, with a particular focus on digital, data and governance.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership or board-level experience within a large, complex organisation.
• Significant experience developing and implementing digital or technology strategy.
• Understanding of how digital solutions, technology and data support organisational strategy.
• Experience leading strategy development and/or major organisational change.
• Experience working with complex stakeholders and partners.
• Knowledge of good governance and its application at board level.
• Ability to hold others to account while balancing quality, performance and finance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with constructive challenge.
• Strong analytical skills and independent, enquiring judgement.
