A regional healthcare provider in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a dedicated Non-Clinical Support Worker for its ward. The successful candidate will support clinical services, maintain a clean, safe environment, and assist both patients and staff. This role requires commitment to patient privacy and dignity. University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust provides acute hospital care to the local population. An opportunity has arisen at Furness General Hospital for a Non-Clinical Support Worker on Ward 6. We would invite candidates who want to help us make a difference for our patients. You will work in conjunction with all staff in order to maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure housekeeping jobs are completed in a satisfactory manner.
We operate from three main hospitals – Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal – as well as a number of community healthcare premises. Anyone newly appointed to the trust under the Agenda For Change contract will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6‑month probationary period.
