About the Role:

As a No Access Investigation Officer, you will be instrumental in resolving persistent no-access cases within our housing stock. This dynamic position involves:

  • Investigating and managing a caseload of no-access properties through home visits and resident engagement.
  • Coordinating access for essential inspections (gas, electrical, fire & building safety).
  • Supporting vulnerable residents and upholding tenancy conditions.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to escape unresolved cases and prepare documentation for court.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews with residents to understand their needs.
  • Provide expert advice on interventions to regain access to properties.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance reporting.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies to support residents effectively.
Requirements:

You possess a strong understanding of housing law and safeguarding.

You have experience supporting legal processes or attending court.

Your communication and negotiation skills are top-notch!

You can manage a varied caseload while working independently and collaboratively.

Housing background is a must.

Must be willing to work outside of working hours.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum GCSE level C in English and Mathematics.
  • Enhanced DBS Check required.
