Job summary

Arnold Clark in Chesterfield is seeking a Nightshift Smart Repair Technician to service our vehicle stock to a high standard. You will work on repairs, painting, and detailing with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role is based at Chesterfield Motorstore, offers a 44-hour week from 7:30pm to 7:00am Monday to Thursday, with opportunities for career progression and regular salary reviews. Benefits include private healthcare, sick pay and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Smart repair/Spray painting experience.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking).
• Carrying out minor damage repairs.
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles.
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.

About The Role

As a Smart Repair technician, you'll carry out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard. The right person for the job will be energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and excellent people skills. What's more, you'll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.

Day-to-day duties

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
• Carrying out minor damage repairs
