Nightshift Machine / Production Operator - Full-Time - Stanley, County Durham

A well‑established manufacturing company in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is currently recruiting for Machine / Production Operators to join their nightshift team based at their site in Stanley, County Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for consistent, long‑term work with the potential for permanent employment following a qualifying period.

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to operate machinery and support general production processes. This role involves a combination of machine operation, manual handling, and working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Duties
  • Operating automated and semi-automated production machinery
  • Manual handling, lifting, and movement of goods and materials
  • Unloading boxes from production lines and preparing goods for dispatch
  • Palletising products and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
  • Conducting regular quality control checks to ensure product standards
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required for this position
Shift Pattern & Hours

Nightshift: Sunday to Thursday

Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (40 hours/week)

Pay & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate (paid weekly)
  • Overtime available, paid at enhanced rates: Time and a half; Double time (where applicable)
