Job description

We are working with our client who are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Turner on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
• Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium
• Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
• Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes

Person Specification

• A time served CNC Machinist with relevant Turning experience
• Fanuc / programming experience
• Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment
• Will be willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others
• Flexible in their approach - willing to do overtime when required to suit customers' requirements
