Job summary

Smyths Toys is seeking Temporary Night Pack Assistants to join our stores. This role involves restocking overnight, ensuring shelves are ready for the next trading day, and working weekends when demand is highest. You may begin on day shifts and transition to night shifts as needed.

We value detail-oriented individuals who are flexible with hours and able to multitask in a busy retail environment. This temporary contract offers competitive hourly pay, with night-rate premiums and opportunities

We are one of the largest toy and baby retailers in Europe! We've got over 250 stores in 6 countries - Ireland, the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France. At Smyths our continued success is all down to our team.

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11 per hour for under 21.

The rate of pay for hours worked between 10pm and 7am is £14.83 for over 21’s and £12.65 for 18-20

The role of a Night Pack Assistant can be fun but also very demanding - we are looking for people who are passionate about detail, flexible with the hours and days that they can work and have the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Typically, our Night Pack Assistants start work when the Store is closed to customers with the main purpose of restocking the Store to prepare for trading the following day. Weekends are our busiest trading days so it is likely that you will be required to work on these days. You may be required to work day shifts before transferring to night shift.
