Job summary

Watts Farms (Sales) Ltd is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to lead our night operation, overseeing the picking and loading processes, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The role operates five 10-hour night shifts between 17:00 and 06:00 on a rota, with weekend work and a full-time, permanent contract.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, a driving licence, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is essential.
• Experience in a chilled warehouse environment is desirable.
• Experience with picking/loading operations.
• UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely.
• FLT licences (reach or counterbalance) are desirable but training will be provided.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing night warehouse picking and loading operations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to improve customer experience.
• Reviewing order quality and accuracy before dispatch.
• Ensuring Health & Safety policies are followed in the warehouse.
• Maintaining audit standards and compliance.
• Carrying out housekeeping, replenishment and general duties as needed.
• Conducting return-to-work, probation, and investigation meetings when required.

Job description

Do you have excellent leadership skills with experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are looking for a Night Warehouse Supervisor to support our night operation and successfully lead the team!
Working hours for the Night Warehouse Supervisor role will be 48 hours per week, working five 10 hour shifts between the hours of 17:00 and 06:00 on a rota basis (will include weekend working).
You will be working on a full time, permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

• Overseeing the night warehouse picking and loading operation
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to improve the customer experience
• Reviewing the quality and accuracy of orders being picked for customers
• Ensuring Health & Safety is always adhered to within the warehouse
• Ensuring internal and external audit standards are met consistently
• Undertaking any general housekeeping, replenishment and warehouse duties to meet business needs
• Conducting return to work, probation review and investigation meetings with team members where required

What key skills and experience you will need:

• Previous supervisory experience is essential
• Experience working in a chilled warehouse environment is desirable
• Previous experience of a picking/loading operation
• UK Driving licence
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• FLT licences, Reach or Counterbalance is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Selfmotivated
• Respecting of safety rules and regulations
