Job summary

DX are hiring a Warehouse Operative for a nightshift role in Exeter. You will be responsible for unloading and loading freight from vehicles to and from the site, assisting the delivery operation and ensuring the correct freight is loaded to complete routes.

The role requires a proactive approach to safety, adherence to DX procedures, and careful handling of all shipments. Training and opportunities for progression are provided.

Responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including PPE
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies at all times
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling all freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site
• Report all damages to your line manager
• Ensure freight matches paperwork / scanner information
• Ensure freight is transported, stored safely and treated with respect
• Maintain warehouse tidiness and report H&S issues immediately
