Job summary

DX Night Warehouse Operative is responsible for safely unloading and loading freight from vehicles at the Lanark site, supporting delivery routes and ensuring correct freight handling. The role emphasizes professional conduct, adherence to DX safety procedures, use of PPE, and accurate documentation via scanners.

You will work during the night shift at DX-2 Lanark, ensuring damaged freight is reported promptly and that all goods are stored securely and in good condition for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner
• Follow DX manual handling and safe working policies including PPE
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving freight
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site
• Report all damages to line manager
• Verify freight matches paperwork / scanner information
• Transport, store safely and respect customers' freight
• Ensure security of freight and assets by reporting suspicious activity
• Keep the warehouse tidy and report H&S issues
