Job summary

The DX Group is hiring DX Warehouse Operatives in Northampton to safely unload and load freight from vehicles and assist the delivery operation. You will follow all safety procedures, use correct handling equipment, and ensure accuracy of paperwork and scanner data.

Qualifications

• Represent DX in a professional manner
• Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including PPE
• Observe and adhere to all DX procedures and policies
• Handle all freight with care and attention
• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving freight

Responsibilities

• Unload and load freight from vehicles safely and efficiently
• Assist delivery operations to ensure correct freight is loaded for routes
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the site
• Report damages immediately to line manager
• Verify that freight matches paperwork and scanner information
• Keep the warehouse tidy and raise any H&S issues
• Protect freight and company assets by reporting suspicious activity to management
