Job description

DX Warehouse Operatives are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight from vehicles into and from the site. They will support the delivery operation to ensure the correct freight is loaded to complete the delivery routes.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Represent DX professionally at all times.
2. Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies, including the correct use of PPE.
3. Adhere to all DX procedures and policies.
4. Handle all freight with care and attention.
5. Access and egress vehicles using the correct means.
6. Use appropriate equipment and methods for handling and moving freight.
7. Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely before leaving the site.
8. Report damages immediately to your line manager.
9. Verify that freight matches relevant paperwork/scanner information.
10. Transport, store, and treat customer freight with safety and respect.
11. Maintain the security of freight and assets by reporting suspicious activity.
12. Keep the warehouse tidy and report H&S issues promptly.
