Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is seeking reliable, hardworking Night Warehouse Operatives to join our busy operation in Newark. This hands-on role involves working during the night, with shifts from 3:00pm to 1:00am or 12:00am to 8:00am, and paying £12.71 per hour.

You will handle stock safely, accurately and efficiently, with heavy lifting and able to work as part of a team. Training is provided, and prior warehouse experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work night or late shifts.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but full training can be provided.

• Moving and handling heavy goods safely.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Sorting, checking and organising stock.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and delivery.
• Using warehouse equipment safely and correctly.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Following company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Reporting damaged goods, shortages or any issues to management.
